We are the team responsible for the helping of people to visualize an image of Riverbank. We build partnerships to create and direct the form of Riverbank consistent with this image. We stand for a commitment to the long-term interests of our community and to the highest quality of service. This perspective is brought forward for the City Manager, City Council, Planning Commission and Appeals Board.
We focus our efforts on economic vitality, environmental integrity and development design quality. Our goal is to foster a sustainable community. We continue our transformation into a department that pursues and encourages residents and employees to choose excellence. This choice will keep Riverbank competitive through the formation of partnerships and create an atmosphere where integrity is the standard. Our service to the community will be provided with enthusiasm, integrity and pride. Our team is comprised of three distinctive yet integrally related Divisions – Planning, Building and Neighborhood Improvement.
