Wastewater Treatment Plant
The City operates the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) to treat and dispose of the wastewater (sewage) collected from within the City. The Treatment Plant is located north of Riverbank across the Stanislaus River and borders the north side of Jacob Myers Park. Anything that is flushed down your toilet or dumped down your sink or shower, makes its way to the Treatment Plant where it runs through a thorough cleaning process.
