  • Time: 10:00a.-12 noon
  • Location: Riverbank Community Center, 3600 Santa Fe St.
  • Age: 18+
  • Fee: $3.00 per day (Paid to instructor)             

This class will introduce low impact exercises that focus on balance, breathing and body awareness. The aim is slow deep breathing and focusing your energy. This class is ideal for gaining muscle coordination and tone.

When: Mondays & Thursdays
Where: Riverbank Community Gymnasium, 3625 Santa Fe.
Time: 6:30pm. - 7:30pm.
Cost: $30 per month ($7.00 drop in)
Ages: 16+
 
Session 1: September 2-30 (No class Sept. 6)
Session 2: October 4-28 (No class Oct. 7)
Session 3: November 1-30 (No class Nov. 11 or Nov. 25)
Session 4: December 2-30 (some classes will be held at the 
               Community Center
Session 5: January 3-31, 2011 (No class Jan. 17, 2011)

ZUMBA FITNESS features aerobic fitness with interval training to Latin and International music. This fast pace exercise has a party like atmosphere! Wear comfortable clothing and aerobic shoes, court shoes or a jazz sneaker. Please bring water and a towel. This is a heart pumping class!

When:  Mondays beginning Oct. 4th
Where: Riverbank Gymasium, 3625 Santa Fe St.
Time: 7:30-9pm
Ages: 55+
Cost: $2.00 per person
 
Come and play a pick up game or just shoot hoops! All participants must fill out a release form before participating.   Adults 55+ can join us for a night of competitive basketball! For more information call Gene Hein at 209-571-3631.

When: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays
Location: Riverbank Community Center
Time: 9:00-12 noon activities & lunch
 
Any senior 60+ are eligible. Nutritional informaiton, fun activities and the opportunity to meet and make friends. Fresh, hot meals are delivered to each site. A $2.00 donation is suggested but not required. For more information, please call 593-5633.

Location: Riverbank Community Center, 3600 Santa Fe St.
Time: 9:00am- 12 Noon
 
The SEAPA Riverbank Forum is sponsoring a free Koffee Klatch. Many agencies will be present with information. Coffee and refreshments will be served. Flu shots will be available. If you have any questions call the Stanislaus Elder Abuse Alliance at 529-3784.

The Riverbank Garden Club is a partnership with the Riverbank School District and the City of Riverbank Parks and Recreation Dept. Plant your fall garden and enjoy fresh produce. Garden boxes are available free of charge to residents of Riverbank for one year intervals. There are currently 3 garden sites. For more information call Dotty Nygard at 968-7989.

This group meets the first Thursday of every month at the Community Center located at 3600 Santa Fe St. at 6:30pm. Beginners to experts can enjoy needlework. For more information call Sue Sterling at 578-3577.
