Sports Complex

The first phase of the 11 acre Sport Complex is now open. This complex is located at 2119 Morrill Rd., right off of Oakdale Road. Phase I of the project offers 2 lighted soccer fields, a parking lot and a concession/restroom building. One field also may be used for football games. Phase II will include a picnic area, BMX park and a recreation area. This phase will begin as soon as funding is secured.

Silva Park

Silva Park Phase I is now open and is located on Antique Rose Ave. and Chancellor. Phase I includes a playground area, 2 half basketball courts, benches and landscaping. Phase II will begin as soon as funding is secured and will include a much needed shade structure, picnic shelter, small restroom and a small water park.

Trails and Camping at Jacob Myers Park

The pedestrian and bike trail, picnic areas and group campground are now open at Jacob Myers Park. We are currently adding nature interpretation signage along the trail and working on grant proposals for expanded parking areas.

Riverbank Teen Center

The City received a grant to help fund this project. We have a very active Teen Committee that has assisted with this project. Construction is finished and the project is done and open! Buy a Brick with your business name or family name and it will be installed in the walkway to the center! Call the Recreation Office for more information. The funds from the brick sales will assist us in furnishing the center. The Teen Center is now officially open and teens are loving it!

Riverbank Dog Park

We have researched Dog Parks and have a great design planned for our community. Once development begins again we will quickly develop this park. Don’t worry, we will plan a location that will be close enough for residents to enjoy but not too close to any homes.
