Riverbank Downtown Beautification
Project Update
There is no
question about it! Infrastructure construction is underway in
Downtown Riverbank. The new storm drain pipes are being
installed down the north side of Santa Fe Street, and crews have
begun installing new water pipes along the south side of Santa
Fe Street. While next year’s beautification work will make a
visual difference, the underground infrastructure work meets a
very important need for downtown businesses and residents. When
heavy rainfall comes this winter, the new (and improved!) storm
drain will help alleviate flooding in the downtown area.
Downtown Businesses Are
Open!
Please don’t
let the construction deter you – downtown merchants are open and
ready for your business! If a business is within the immediate
construction area, through traffic will be detoured; however,
customers can park at the end of the block and simply walk to
the business.
