Farmers’ Market & More
Wednesday Evenings Through September 3
5:00 - 8:00 p.m.
The annual Riverbank Farmers' Market & More is underway and
open each Wednesday evening at the Riverbank Community Center Park,
3600 Santa Fe Street, in downtown Riverbank. Each week
certified farmers bring a delicious variety of produce and nuts,
like apricots, peaches, nectarines, onions, corn, zucchini,
cucumbers, fresh herbs, almonds, walnuts, and much more! There
are craft vendors, informational booths, local businesses, and
great cooks, too!
Bring a lawn chair or blanket, grab some dinner (there is
always a variety available), and sit down to
great LIVE entertainment! This year's musical
entertainment includes Paul Frank and Power Play, Bourbon Street
Blues, Ray Woods, and Minor Discord.
Every Market night has a theme or activity planned just for that
night. The month of June saw an Art Exhibit, and an act
from Shakespeare's Twelfth Night was performed by the Rio Arts
Players, and a car show came in on the 25th. July will be
Health & Safety Month with July 9, a special night for senior
citizens; and a Kids Health & Safety Fair on July 23. In August the
theme is Game Nights! August 6 is "Are You Smarter Than a
Fifth Grader?", August 13 is "Family Feud", and August 27 is
"Club Night". Also returning this year, the Riverbank Idol Contest!
It is scheduled for August 20, more information will be available for
all the events in
upcoming weeks.
Vendors may still join us, please call Norma Torres-Manriquez at
209-863-7153 for more information on signing up for Farmers'
Market & More!
