ROTA

ROTA Trolley is a fixed-route that operates between Riverbank and Oakdale every 60 minutes.  The service will be coordinated with StaRT to allow for through travel to other areas of the County, including Modesto (Modesto Area Express (MAX).

Contact ROTA Dial-a-Ride:

869-7444

Service hours:

  • Monday - Friday 6:00 am to 7:00 pm
  • Saturday 8:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Trolley stops will feature a sign, bench, or shelter in an old fashioned design to coincide with the Trolley.  Passengers who board the Trolley in neighborhood areas would flag the Trolley down by waving their hand!  The route will begin at Oakdale and Patterson Roads in Riverbank and continue to downtown Oakdale at the site of the proposed Community Center at 1st Avenue and G Street.

  • Seniors (ages 65 and older) and persons with disabilities 50 cents
  • Transfer charge to MAX and SJRTD 25 cents
  • A book of 10 Trolley tickets for the general public is $6.00 and for Seniors or persons with disabilities $5.00.

ROTA Dial-A-Ride will continue to offer service to Seniors and persons with disabilities regardless of where they live in the ROTA service area.  General public passengers who live 1/4 of a mile away from ROTA Trolley Route will need to use ROTA Trolley.  Seniors or persons with disabilities are eligible for Dial-a-ride service.
