Road Closure Updates

Last Update: May 8, 2008

Spring is here!!  There will be fewer rain showers, but they are not completely gone.  We will still see a few more winter-type storms so remember to use your headlights with your windshield wipers as required by State Law.  Please watch for road crews and follow their instructions for your safety as well as theirs.  Remember, the speed limit in construction areas is 25-mph if not posted.  Fines may be doubled in these areas!  Slow for the cone zone!

Current Road Closures and/or Construction Areas:

Downtown Beautification Project Area

The speed limit in the downtown construction area is 15-mph.  Fines will be doubled in this area.

Currently, construction in the downtown area has been confined to the alleys; however, the speed limit is still posted at 15-mph.  Please watch for construction equipment and workers in the downtown area.
