Spring is here!! There will be fewer
rain showers, but they are not completely gone. We will
still see a few more winter-type storms so remember to use your
headlights with your windshield wipers as required by State Law. Please watch for road crews and follow
their instructions for your safety as well as theirs.
Remember, the speed limit in construction areas is 25-mph if not
posted.
Fines may be doubled in these areas! Slow for the cone
zone!
Current Road Closures and/or Construction Areas:
Downtown Beautification Project Area
The speed
limit in the downtown construction area is 15-mph. Fines will
be doubled in this area.
Currently, construction in the downtown area has been confined
to the alleys; however, the speed limit is still posted at
15-mph. Please watch for construction equipment and
workers in the downtown area.
OTHER CONSTRUCTION AREAS

On Friday, May 9
from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., San Joaquin County will
continue
working on the First Street Bridge over the Stanislaus
River. Signs have been posted. Expect delays
of up to 15-minutes due to bridge construction. Alternate
route is McHenry Avenue to Escalon. Please watch for
Flagmen.

On Wednesday, April 9 until Monday, May
12 from 7:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, the
following locations will have diverted traffic for construction:

PATTERSON ROAD, between Eighth
and Claus Road

CLAUS ROAD, between Patterson
Road and California Avenue
