Conservation Fund and Recreation Trails Program to develop a loop pedestrian and
bicycle trail, group camping area and picnic areas along the
trail. This project is complete. Anyone interested in assisting
with projects are welcome to attend the Friends of Jacob
Myers Park meeting on the fourth Wednesday of each month. The meetings are held at 6:00pm at
the City Hall Council Chambers. Other grant proposals are
currently being written to continue to move forward with making
the Master Plan for this park a reality.

Teen Center
The City has received a grant to help fund this project. We have a very strong and active Youth and
Teen Committee to act as a design and consulting team for this
center. We need to raise some funds to provide a match for the
grant. Please watch for our fundraisers and if you can help with
a donation, please call the recreation
office. Construction on this center will begin during the
summer of 2008 and be complete in 2009.
