Youth & Teen Committee
Are you interested in being active in your community? Do you
have ideas for developing parks, facilities, and programs for
the youth of Riverbank? You may be interested in our Youth and
Teen Committee that meets on the second Monday of each month. The
meetings are held at 6:15 pm at the City Council Chambers. The
Committee is made up of 7th through 12th grade students.
Applications are available at the
Recreation Office.
Assist in the planning of the new Teen Center that will be build
next to our Community Center, located at 3600 Santa Fe St.
Open Gym Basketball
- When: Mondays and Wednesdays, September 10 through
February 25, 2008
- Where: Riverbank Community Gymnasium, located at Cardozo
School
- Time: 6:30-9pm.
- Ages: 16 and older
- Cost: $2.00 per night
Come and shoot hoops with your friends or play in a pick up
game. All participants must fill out a release form prior to
playing.
Adult/Junior Tennis League
*New dates will be available March 1st.
Kidz Love Soccer
Kidz Love Soccer General Information: Kidz 2 1/2 to 12 years
old learn the world's most popular sport from professional
coaches trained in the Kidz Love Soccer method. A session
experience includes age appropriate activities, skill
demonstration, fun games and inspirational scrimmages conducted
in a non-competitive, recreational format. Kidz Love Soccer
where the score is always fun to fun!

Riveroak Redskins Football and Cheerleading
For boys and girls ages 7 - 14. For more information call
869-2316.
Riverbank Youth Baseball and Softball
RYBSA usually has registration in January each year for the
spring season. This is a private organization that uses City
fields. Call the Recreation Office for more information at
869-7010.
Volunteer Program
The City of Riverbank Recreation Department is looking for
youth and adults who are interested in volunteering for various
activities throughout the year. Activities include the Annual
Turkey Trot, Riverbank Rabbit Run, Pajama-Rama on New Year's Eve,
the Halloween Carnival and Haunted Hay Ride, Riverbank Walkers,
the Riverbank Skate Park Task Force, and many more! For an
application, come by the
Recreation Office.
