Duties & Purpose
Planning attempts to balance the often competing economic, environmental and social needs of the community. To achieve this balance, planning provides input into development review, community goal setting and capital improvement processes.
Community Growth
Through continuous community engagement, the planning function helps direct the growth of our growing community toward performing closer to the potential that exists in Riverbank.
The desired outcome of the Planning Division has 3 perspectives:
- Economic stability
- Neighborhood stability
- Resource conservation
