StanRTA

StanRTA provides Fixed Route and Demand Response (ADA Paratransit, Dial-A-Ride and Medivan) services throughout Stanislaus County, as well as commuter service to the Amtrak station in Modesto, ACE station in Lathrop, Manteca Transit Center, Stockton Transit Center and Dublin/Pleasanton BART station.

StanRTA is the primary provider of mass transportation in the suburban, rural and metropolitan areas of Stanislaus County, California. Fixed route service includes 27 routes that serve Ceres, Crows Landing, Grayson, Hickman, Hughson, Modesto, Oakdale, Patterson, Riverbank, Turlock, Waterford, and Westley.

Route 24

Travels between Empire and Riverbank via Yosemite, Creekwood, E. Orangeburg, Roselle, Morrill, and Oakdale Rd. Stops of interest include Johansen High School, Riverbank Crosswoods Shopping Center, and Enochs High School.

Fares- Purchase Locations

• All tickets and passes can be purchased at the Downtown Modesto Transit Center Customer Service Office. 
• Regular 1, 7, and 31-Day Passes are available at the Stanislaus State University (CSUS) Student Center during business hours. 
• Passes can also be purchased by mail with a check or money order sent to the StanRTA Office (click for details). 
• Fixed Route and Commuter fares can always be purchased on the Token Transit app (click for details). 
• 1-Day Passes can be purchased on the bus with exact change. Only cash is accepted, and drivers do not carry change. Please have the exact change ready to deposit in the fare box before boarding the bus.

All persons must have a valid Pass/Ticket in their possession while riding the bus. Tickets are not transferable. Fare evasion is a violation of State Penal Code Section 640.

Please be aware that The S does not offer exchanges, replacements nor refunds for passes. This policy applies to passes that have been folded, ripped, or water damaged and includes passes that were purchased and activated prior to free ride promotion days.
